We received the sad news that Luuk van Huët passed away last Sunday.
Luuk was a co-initiator of the KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival (now: Kaboom Animation Festival), and an involved person in the Amsterdam film world, for which he wrote, curated, and organized.
Judging by the reactions on Facebook to his passing, this has not left many unmoved.

Luuk has also been involved with Filmpeople. Right from the start, he held various roles at Filmstart, and later spent several years responsible for the editing of Filmnieuws. Very loyal, humorous, and attentive.

Luuk died far too young. We wish Luuk's family and friends much strength.
