🎥 About the film
RE:ACT is a psychological drama with mysterious and unsettling elements, with an intended running time of 10–15 minutes.
The story follows Levi (16), a rebellious boy who hides behind bravado, provocative behavior and indifference. When he meets a mysterious man (He Who Stays), he is confronted with the consequences of his behavior, but also with the pain he carries with him.

📷 Who am I looking for?
I am looking for someone who is not only technically skilled with a camera, but who is also particularly enthusiastic about visual storytelling.
Someone with whom I, as a director, can brainstorm about how we can translate emotions, tension, and character development into visuals.

I would like to collaborate on:
- Shot choices, composition, perspective, and camera movements.
- Choosing suitable lenses and focal lengths.
- Switching between handheld and stabilized camera control.
- Creating psychological tension through framing.
- Filming quiet, dialogue-driven scenes as well as intense chases.
Utilizing natural light in a forest/park environment.
- Developing a feasible shot list and visual approach.
- Creative solutions within the possibilities of a student production.

🪞 The visual style of RE:ACT
I have already developed a clear camera vision for RE:ACT.
Before the appearance of the mysterious man, I want to film primarily handheld, fitting Levi's impulsive and restless personality.

When the mysterious man appears, the camera work is precisely controlled, stable, and carefully framed.
As Levi loses emotional control, the camera work changes as well. Especially during an intense chase scene in the woods, I want to work with handheld shots, POV perspectives, and dynamic camera movements.
I have already prepared visual references and concrete shot ideas for this.
But I am emphatically not looking for a cameraman who only executes my ideas.

I am looking for a creative collaboration partner who is not afraid to think along.
If you think, “This shot could be stronger with a different lens, camera angle, or movement,” I would actually love to hear that!
