I'm MO Mar, an aspiring first-time writer-director based in the Amsterdam area.

I'm currently developing ONE DAY ONE, a 12–15-minute psychological drama exploring ambition, human connection, and the choices that shape our lives.

The screenplay is drafted, and I'm preparing to apply for Shortcutz Greenlight, a program supporting emerging filmmakers in the Netherlands.

To complete the application, I'm looking to connect with a producer and cinematographer who would be interested in joining the project.

The Greenlight application deadline is November 11, 2026, so I'm hoping to connect with potential collaborators soon.

What we offer
This is currently an unpaid independent short-film project. No production funding or financial compensation has been secured.

I'm preparing an application for Shortcutz Greenlight, which may provide access to filmmaking equipment, mentorship, and industry support if the project is selected. Selection is not guaranteed.

I'm offering the opportunity to collaborate creatively from an early stage, contribute to an original film, develop practical experience, and receive appropriate screen credits.

My aim is to build a respectful, inclusive team where everyone's creative input is valued.

Any future production commitments, working arrangements, and expenses will be discussed transparently before proceeding.

Description
'm looking for two collaborators:

1. Producer
An emerging producer interested in helping develop an independent short film, including production planning, budgeting, scheduling, and exploring funding opportunities.

2. Cinematographer / Director of Photography (DOP)
Someone interested in visual storytelling who would like to collaborate on the film's cinematography, shot planning, and overall visual approach.

Film students, recent graduates, and emerging filmmakers are very welcome.

Ideally, both collaborators would be based in Amsterdam or nearby and available to discuss the project before the Greenlight deadline.

Period
Initial introductions and team formation: November 6–10, 2026.

Shortcutz Greenlight application deadline: November 11, 2026.

Further development and potential production dates will depend on the application's outcome, team availability, and available resources.

No filming dates have been confirmed.

Job requirements / profile
I'm looking for collaborators who are reliable, communicative, creatively engaged, and interested in independent filmmaking.

For the Greenlight application, both the producer and cinematographer must be sincerely willing to join the project and be listed as attached team members.

The producer would help develop a realistic production approach and coordinate the practical aspects of filmmaking.

The cinematographer would collaborate on the film's visual concept, camera approach, and technical planning.

Previous experience is welcome, but emerging filmmakers and film students are encouraged to respond.
