ScriptAcademy, the premier professional training program for screenwriters, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. We are celebrating this together with its publisher Meridiaan with a masterclass by screenwriter/director Guillermo Arriaga. The films Arriaga has written have won awards, such as Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Babel, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, and Desde Allá. The masterclass will delve into his vision, his scripts, his films, and his working methods.
“I have become aware of the craft of writing. I know what I want to say and how I want to tell the story. With me, everything is all over the place. That is also how I write. I know where I am, but I don't know where I'm heading. Writing is an adventure.”
He will also be signing his new book *Het Vuur Redden* (included in the ticket).
