A couple agrees to have their last conversation at a lake, when one is moving to Korea for her dream job.

Concept
The film is about a final conversation with a couple and is mainly dialogue-based. It's about spending a last moment with someone and looking back on the past. I want to investigate how you can tell an interesting story with pure dialogue and how you can make connections with the characters in the story.

Form and Style
The film is mainly filmed with long takes and vintage lenses. It should have a nostalgic feeling. I prefer to film with a slightly wider lens to stay close to the people.

Synopsis
Isa sits alone on the pier near the lake. She looks around and enjoys the sun that warms her face. She hears footsteps approaching and a sweet, recognizable voice. It is Dennis who apologizes for being late due to an incident with his father. Through the conversation we find out who these two people are and what they want. Isa is moving to Korea for her dream job. Dennis wants her to stay, but understands that she also has to leave. The couple reflects on their relationship, bringing back good and bad memories.

Finally, Isa receives a phone call. Her parents are waiting in the car to pick her up to go to the airport.

They walk towards the direction where the real farewell takes place. Dennis tries to say something, but decides not to. Isa and Dennis look at each other for a long time without saying a word. Then Isa gets into the car and leaves. She hangs out the window briefly to wave.

Dennis is left alone.

She is ambitious and adventurous. She is a bright spot in Dennis' life and is generally very cheerful. She sees her career very highly and has a dream to work abroad. She has always had an easy time, including at school and with her studies, where she achieved everything with high grades and ease.

Dennis (m) 25-30
He is introverted and did not have the best childhood. His father is seriously ill and appears to have symptoms of Alzheimer's. He is busy with his studies, which he has a lot of difficulty with because he also has to work a lot. He would prefer Isa to stay, but does not dare to express it because he does not want to be the one to 'ruin' her dreams. He doesn't want her to regret staying.
