With a small crew, I'm embarking on a passion project. "Turiya and the Slayer" is a short film settled in a mystical realm where a cast of knights, named Slayers, are destined to kill demigods known as Turiya, a young knight faces an existential crisis after fulfilling his duty, only to question the nature of his quest, as he uncovers a profound, heartbreaking truth about his fated enemy.
The film is highly inspired by the work of Bergman in The Seventh Seal and Hour of the Wolf.
The short film will be five minutes long and shot in the evocative town of Dinant in Belgium.
On the side, we will be shooting a music video in the same locations for a Rotterdam-based band, footage of the film will be used in the video.

What do we offer?
This is a passion project, the crew and cast, as well as the band, is mostly composed by friends. We are all experienced filmmakers, despite our young age, with experience on sets for big brands and with affirmed Dutch production companies. What we have to offer is dedication and love for the art of filmmaking, the possibility to collaborate on many other projects together, a peculiar portfolio piece, core memories, a lot of laughs, and the satisfaction and beauty of creating something unique.

We are currently raising money for the project and seeking support from production houses, compensation for your expenses is surely covered, and there is a low-budget payment if the funding campaign reaches its goal.

Description
We are looking for a producer who can speak French since we are shooting in a location where the language barrier between us and the locals is pretty tough. We'd like to work together with someone who already has at least a year of experience on sets, and a couple of projects under their belt as a producer. Ultimately, it would be ideal to have someone like-minded, who has an interest in working on something unique and peculiar.

Job requirements / profile
This is your gig if:
- You speak French
- You have at least 1 year of experience on set
- You can work well under pressure, have excellent management and organizational skills, and have no issues providing and managing all the documentation needed (call sheets, budget overviews etc...)
- You want to create something new and unique
- You like odd films
- You get excited if you see a sword
- You are ok with being in an abandoned castle in mid-December.
