We are third year students of the Dutch Filmers Academy and are currently working on a new comedy short film. As a student production, we all contribute: Mika is the director and writer of the script, Cas is in charge of the camera and organized the crowdfunding, and I, Shefali, am responsible for communication and set dressing. We are now in the middle of pre-production and making sure everything is ready for the shooting days in January. In total we will have four shooting days, shooting in 's Gravenmoer and Eindhoven.

Below is a summary of the story:
Sven is the star reporter of GrobbeldijkTV and works together with his best friend, cameraman Karel. They make a report about a local snack, but get competition from rival Brabo Vandaag. When former Brabo Vandaag employee Maud comes to work at GrobbeldijkTV, she steals a report from Sven, which fuels his jealousy and rivalry. Sven and Karel try to get more attention with fake news, but Maud discovers this and threatens Sven with revealing it. This leads to conflicts, with Karel betraying Sven and both friends being fired.

However, Maud struggles without Sven and Karel and gets them back to work together. With a joint report, they convince their boss, are rehired and share the title of "Employee of the Month." All's well that ends well.

SVEN
Sven is an enthusiastic and ambitious 25-year-old who has been working at GrobbeldijkTV for some time. He has a charming bond with the village, but sometimes gets too caught up in his enthusiasm, which does not always benefit his reports. Appreciation and respect mean a lot to him, which is both his strength and weakness. His friendship with Karel is very important to him.

KAREL
Karel is Sven's best friend and the cameraman of GrobbeldijkTV. He is also about 25 years old. He is a servant, a people pleaser. He does a lot for others but he also finds justice important. He is sweet and smart and does his job the way it should be done.

MAUD
Maud is the former reporter of Brabo Vandaag, also about 25 years old. She is businesslike, diligent and serious. She finds sincere and real news important. She is up for a bit of a competition and is also very competitive. Maud wants to excel and she shows that. Her bad quality is that she does not understand the people of the village very well and therefore cannot conduct such good interviews.
