In a modern world where creatures from folklore coexist with us, vampires Clementine and Paulus work illegal jobs to make ends meet. After a drug deal goes wrong, monster hunters come after Paulus, forcing Clementine to risk everything to protect her friend.

"The Above" is an organization tasked with maintaining order between humans and non-human beings.

SYNOPSIS:
Clementine is a reckless vampire who, with her good friend Paulus, does odd jobs for the Mafia. Paulus encourages Clementine to get out of the rut of her life. Eventually, they are assigned to handle a drug deal at a predetermined location, where they are unexpectedly attacked. Against the rules of "The Above", people die here. Clementine must help Paulus escape as quickly as possible, before he is executed by hunters of "The Above", named Belle and Raziel. Through an informant, they get a hint about the final location of the vampires, after which the hunt begins. Clementine and Paulus arrive at the final location and try to escape under the city limits. Belle arrives and Paulus distracts her so that Clementine has an attempt to escape. Raziel finds Clementine, but spares her life. The fate of Paulus remains uncertain. Eventually, Clementine returns home and has to come to terms with the fact that she will never see her friend again.

What do we offer?
"The Above" was a graduation project, the budget of which has unfortunately been largely used up. However, we want to provide compensation from our own pockets, if necessary. The compensation is negotiable. We are also striving for a worthy end product that we can be proud of, and that will be sent to film festivals all over the world. In addition, the editor/VFX artist will also get a nice spot in the credits and the film may be used for the portfolio, among other things.

Description
We believe with all our heart in the story of the Above and we are convinced that it can become something beautiful. That is why we are looking for an editor with a lot of motivation who wants to make the edit of the short film "The Above". There will be small pieces of VFX in it, but this will not be intense. (Think of mask and track work etc.) We would also like the editor to do this.

Job requirements / profile
Experience in the field of fiction is a plus that applies to both editing and VFX, but not necessarily required. It is important that you have a feeling for editing fiction films and can effectively assemble a story based on a decoupage.
