As a director at MatZwart, you make ideas a reality for our clients. You come up with creative concepts for approach and strategy, write scripts and screenplays, and go on the road with a team for shootings at home and abroad. You are the point of contact for clients and keep an overview of multiple projects at the same time, so that all productions run smoothly and according to plan.

On set you guide speakers and help actors and presenters to convincingly portray their roles. You are a friendly, positive and representative force, with a natural authority.

In the edit, you work in a structured way and clearly present your vision. You are good at receiving feedback, process comments with ease and ensure a final result that both the client and you can be proud of. In addition, you participate in brainstorming sessions, assist in colleagues' montages and think along about visual choices. You like to stay informed of the latest developments in our field and are constantly working on your own growth.

Job requirements / profile
What are you bringing?

A good dose of creativity and empathy
Minimum 2 years of experience as a director. Minimum 5 years of experience with (simple) editing
Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience and knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is a big plus
Strong communication skills for smooth collaboration with clients and team members
Directing a recording crew/editor/post-processor (for large productions). But also editing yourself (for smaller productions)
An eye for quality and detail
Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
A representative, pleasant and proactive attitude
A driver's license
