The film
Wen Er Maar Aan is about actress M. She is almost fifty, in menopause and is constantly reminded of it. Her sex life is non-existent, her listless teenage son Ole opposes everything she does and in the end she loses her beloved role as an actress in a police series. That is why M. decides that she has to rediscover herself.

The film is based on the book of the same name, written by Maike Meijer, of which more than 175,000 copies have been sold. The film is directed by Albert Jan van Rees. The screenplay is written by Maike Meijer and she will also play the lead role.
