My crew and I are currently preparing a short film. Here is a synopsis to give you an idea of what the film will be about:
David, an ambitious young man, is under great pressure to take over the family business. His passion for drawing is systematically undermined by the expectations of his parents and the guilt of living in the shadow of his deceased brother. He chooses security over his own dreams, but it soon becomes apparent that this choice leads him to a life of regret and self-loathing.
David is confronted by his older, bitter self, who warns him of the consequences of following a path that is not his own. As David faces the ultimate end of his own destructive journey, he struggles with the realization that his choices are destroying not only his future, but his self-image.
Will David find the courage to go against his family and choose his own path? Or will he repeat the mistakes of his older self and sacrifice his creativity forever?

What do we offer?
Since we are a student production that cannot yet be sponsored by funds, we unfortunately cannot offer money for the labor. But we can certainly deliver a few days that will be unforgettable! Besides the fun experience, we do offer lunch. This is also the perfect project to network with other actors and young filmmakers.

We are looking for 7 enthusiastic actors between the ages of 22 and 80 who would be interested in starring in our short film.

David (22-35)
David is the main character of the film. He is an awkward young man with messy hair that reflects his inner chaos. He speaks softly and avoids conflict, which emphasizes his attempts to please others. However, his eyes betray an inner struggle that he does not put into words.

Alexander (28-42)
Alexander is David's older brother. He is a self-assured man, with a straight back and a determined look. He speaks with authority, sometimes cold and distant, but knows how to convince people with his calmness and precision.

Future David (48-65)
Since there are two Davids from the future, both Davids are played by the same actor. One David is unpredictable and explosive, with sharp voice changes and violent gestures. He speaks quickly and emotionally, with his frustrations and despair constantly resounding. The other David is calm and calculating, with controlled movements and a monotone voice. He speaks calmly and convincingly, but without any warmth or empathy.

Father (64-80)
This character is Alexander and David's father. Father is stern and purposeful, with a harsh voice that often fills the room. He tends to snap or give orders directly, without caring how it comes across. Despite his sternness, he has moments of silence where his inner struggle is visible.

Mother (42-58)
This character is the mother of Alexander and David. She speaks calmly and softly, but her words have a deep effect. She is subtle in her manipulations, with a tendency to play the victim to get her way. She is a keen observer, always looking for emotional weaknesses to achieve her goals.

Ron (42-58)
Ron is David's mentor extra. He is playful and evasive in conversation, with a sharp, sometimes biting humor. He seems to take everything lightly, but his smile betrays an underlying restlessness. He talks quickly, avoids serious topics, and is a master at avoiding confrontation.

Maid (38-50)
The maid is the loyal woman who works in the company of Alexander and David's father. She is determined and always there for the family.
