Our film '23' is a tragicomedy about the dynamics between a restless mother and daughter.

In the film, Benthe and her mother Nora end up stranded at a typical Dutch family holiday park. Benthe is confronted with the fact that her own unrest is directly intertwined with that of her mother. We follow the women for two days at the park. Their complex but loving bonding pattern, in which humor plays a major role, is central. Themes such as pessimism, death, love and broken toilet seats are discussed.
