I am Lakaaysha. I edit, assist, and think along – and I am available for collaborations as an editor or assistant director.

Fiction, documentary, fashion film, hybrid work, experimental or poetic – I like to work on projects that are right in rhythm, image and feeling. I have experience in different formats and phases: from preparation and set work to final editing. My style is intuitive, precise, and visually strong.

I have a background in audiovisual art and have worked in both artistic and production-oriented settings in the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. On set I am sharp and calm. In editing I like flow, structure and detail.
