I'm looking for a filming location for a wonderful new Dutch film project based on a true story. A location in the Netherlands.
It can be an older office building, a school, a nursing home, or a residential group for people with disabilities/a psychiatric institution. (As long as there's a room with a homey atmosphere, as it will mimic the residential group of a youth facility.) Preferably long hallways and classrooms (like those of a school). We're crowdfunding and would love to discuss the options to get a sense of our budget and explain it. I'm looking for an affordable location for around €0-200 per day. As soon as the project is complete, I'd like to use the location. There's no set date yet. It really depends on what's possible. For a free location, your company will receive extra promotion in exchange for the film shoot. The location will be used for two days. A maximum of nine hours per shooting day.

We have a cast and crew of 3 main actors
10 people with supporting roles
7 (bit part) extras, a producer/director (myself), a cameraman and a sound technician.

Initially, the film will be shown online on social media and YouTube, including additional promotion. The film will also be submitted to potential sponsors and film funds.

The story takes place in the late 90s and is about a 10-year-old girl with behavioral problems.

In the sultry year of 1997, we follow 10-year-old Fien, an intelligent but intense girl completely stuck in her environment. She's bullied at school, feels misunderstood at home, and reacts with anger and erratic behavior—sometimes so intense that she blacks out. When Fien hurts animals and becomes unmanageable at home, she's forcibly admitted to a youth psychiatric clinic. What was intended as a temporary day treatment quickly turns into a long-term stay of at least a year.

Far from home, trapped between four walls and children she sometimes can't stand, Fien struggles with intense homesickness and a deep sense of rejection. Her autism diagnosis forces her to explore herself, while she must learn to navigate the unpredictable storms in her mind and in life itself. Black Before Eyes is a moving, intimate film about anger, longing, and resilience—and about a girl slowly learning to swim in her own deep waters.
