A sentence, an object, a character, a genre and 48 hours.
Film teams receive the ingredients for their films on Friday evening and then have 48 hours to write, film, edit and submit the film on time on Sunday evening.
Our highly experienced team will be participating in this film project competition, this time with the 48-hour film project Rotterdam edition.

What do we offer?
You'll be welcomed with open arms by our professional cast and crew, many of whom have previously won awards within 48hfp and/or been recognized for their contributions to the film and video industry.
The winning film of this edition will be shown in Lisbon during Filmapalooza in March 2026 and will compete for the title of best 48h film in the world.

Someone with extensive technical knowledge and a good sense of aesthetics and dramaturgy to create the right sound environment.

Job requirements / profile
You devise and manipulate sound effects to create the desired atmosphere and experience of the film. You also ensure that the dialogue is audible. Ultimately, you are responsible for the final mix.
