Hello! We are Bram, Jack, Koen, Martin, Nils, Stella, and Thom. For our Audiovisual Storytelling minor at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, we're spending five months creating a short film about dementia. Unfortunately, dementia affects 1 in 5 people in the Netherlands. It's a sensitive topic that we want to make visible and discussable with our film.

Our protagonist, Willem, lives alone and is cared for by his daughter, Eva. Their bond is strong, but reality slowly begins to shift. Small mistakes turn into major confusions, memories fade, and the boundary between then and now blurs along with them. The result: a moving, intimate, and compelling story that touches the viewer right in the heart.

What do we offer?

We, an enthusiastic group of Audiovisual Storytelling students at Saxion, are looking for a woman of approximately 35 years old who wants to play the second leading role in our short fiction film (10 minutes) about dementia, love and loss.
