Tim (Male, Lead, 15-22)
Tim is a sensitive and imaginative teenager who often feels lonely and struggles with questions about himself and the world.

Little Tim (Male, Supporting, 5-10)
Little Tim is the younger version of Tim: playful, uninhibited and full of imagination, with all the sensitivity and loyalty that would later characterize him.

Mart (Male, Supporting, 40-55)
Mart is Tim's father and forms the link between the past and the present. He is warm and gentle, but often too passive and afraid to take responsibility.

Karen (Female, Supporting, 40-55)
Karen is Tim's mother and stayed behind after Mart left. She's caring and strong, but her grief and bitterness make it difficult to maintain open contact with Tim.

Maya (Female, Supporting, 40-55)
Maya is Mart's new wife and a stepmother extra to Alex, Lilly, and now Tim. She's warm and open and tries to give him space without forcing it.
