Jort or Josefien (male or female, 20-25): Jort or Josefien, the impulsive one, stays more in the background. They rarely take charge, still find it nerve-wracking to make such decisions, but would like to be more involved in important decisions affecting Joost. This desire often clashes with Jorik/Joyce, who rarely relinquishes control. Jort/Josefien finds this frustrating and wants to change this unequal dynamic.

Jorik or Joyce (male or female, 20-25): Jorik or Joyce, the rational one, likes to take the lead from a young age. He or she often takes center stage and doesn't shy away from making decisions. He or she has a clear vision of what's best for Joost and acts decisively on it—preferably independently. Although well-intentioned, Jorik/Joyce leaves little room for others to participate in decision-making.

Joost (man 20):
Joost is a twenty-year-old boy who still lives with his parents in a quiet neighborhood of Amsterdam. He's the type who always colors neatly within the lines—a thoughtful, somewhat nerdy boy with a penchant for structure, logic, and clarity. Rules give him stability, and he usually follows them without too much trouble. His days are organized, predictable, and safe. However, behind that seemingly stable exterior, two forces are at work, constantly in conversation—and sometimes in conflict. Inside Joost live Jorik and Jort. So far, the collaboration between the two has been going well, until one of them gets fed up with it, and the collaboration falls apart.
