My name is Marina and I am an Audiovisual Design student at WDKA (Rotterdam). Together with Ada, a student from Animation, we are making our Graduation Film (Afstudeerfilm) called Casa Amarela (The Yellow House).

ABOUT THE STORY:
Casa Amarela is a visual poem about a family separated by migration who reunite to face unspoken memories of a daughter’s illness. Through letters to her younger self, Celina reflects on childhood, distance, and healing. As the seasons change outside her window, she slowly rebuilds her family’s bond; rediscovering the vulnerability that brings them back together.

Description
YOUR WORK:
Our project is a mixed-media film including digital and analog live action with 3D animation. The main character compares her family members to trees, and how the change of seasons of nature are similar to the character's growth through time. We would like to have an animation of the trees changing from green to falling leaves, "naked"/white, and finally blooming back in spring. The idea is that they will have a felt-like style, almost as if it was in Stop Motion. Each animated part introduce a new season/time of the story.

Job requirements / profile
Good English communication (we are an international team of students).
Experience with blender/texture work.
