Sound design

(auto-translated from Dutch)

To See Where You Stand is a remake of a short film that was previously featured in an art installation.

A psychological drama involving two dancers, male and female, with an age difference, who share the same (ex) lover. The film is inspired by the early dogma works of Lars von Trier and is a tongue-in-cheek melodrama (although the tongue-in-cheek aspect is now a little less, in this new version, leaving it to be more of a melodrama pur-sang.)

Partly shot at a beach there is some complication of wind and sea sound in the shooting, which needs to be made continuous, while the voices sound clean. Set-recording was done very well and professionally, with many additional wild takes to chose from.

Description
I am looking for a SOUND DESIGNER for my short film To See Where You Stand.

This is an UNPAID job I'm afraid. But could be an interesting challenge for someone who either wants to sharpen their kills or for any other reason.

We've just finished grading and the film needs a subtle soundmixing, focussing on intelligibility of voices and story-telling dynamics.

Job requirements / profile
You need to be a sound designer with knowledge of relevant software and love for film. We can sit together for one, two or max three days. Dutch is not needed, the film is English spoken.

Language requirements
Engels
