For our short fantasy/horror film Friends, we're looking for an enthusiastic VFX Artist/Compositor who enjoys contributing to a striking, original film project — shot in a green screen studio with a unique Technicolor look.

The film will be visually unique: an absurdist and dark Russian fairy tale, shot in 4:3, with colorful, stylized backgrounds and a nod to classics like The Wizard of Oz (1939). We will film in very high resolution, with abundant lighting and careful cinematography. The art team will assist with the set design.

The shooting is led by an experienced crew, with a great love for film, style and detail

The images are recorded in high quality (lots of light, good cameras)

Description
Someone with experience in green screen compositing (After Effects, Nuke, DaVinci Fusion — whatever you like)

You can work neatly and think about atmosphere and image composition

Experience with simple animations or templates is a plus, but not required.

You have time to work on the project in the months following the shooting days (home/remote is fine)

Job requirements / profile
We are looking for someone who can help us place backgrounds behind the green screen shooting.

The backgrounds are often simple: color gradients, still or subtly animated visuals (such as snow).

Animations can optionally use existing templates.

We already have someone for editing and design — you'll focus primarily on keying/composing the images and setting the right background and atmosphere.

We work with a small team, so your input is visible and appreciated.
