"Try to Turn Back" is a short road film about pride and the inevitable march of time. It tells the story of Koen, an 86-year-old man who, now approaching his own end, travels across the Netherlands on a mobility scooter to visit the son he disowned 38 years ago.

The film is a project by third-year Film and Audiovisual Media students from the Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and has a professional approach.

Description
We are looking for a male actor between 20 and 28 years old for the role of young Marco, a 21-year-old man. Marco is independent, respectful, and caring, with weaknesses such as suppressing his own emotions. We are looking for someone who can act subtly and nonverbally. A driver's license is required.

Physical features: Brown hair, slim build.
