"A'MEN" (working title) is a short HKU student film about gay emancipation in the 1990s.
Pastor Elia Pontius leads a thriving, energetic church, but everything changes when young Boaz walks into the church one Sunday. There's a subtle, unexpected attraction between the two. Boaz is openly gay and content with himself, while Pontius represses his feelings. He attributes his fear of losing himself and the church to Boaz. In an attempt to put an end to the situation, he makes the brutal decision to reveal Boaz to the church. The warmth in the church shifts and transforms into a cold place filled with misplaced pity.

What do we offer?

Please note: this is an unpaid extra job, so unfortunately we cannot offer compensation, but we do offer a nice set experience and of course the end result.
