When young people commit a crime and are arrested, they deserve fair treatment and appropriate support for any problems they may be experiencing, such as domestic violence. Our research aims to contribute to this, and you can help.
In our research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, we are videotaping interviews between Child Protection Council (CPS) or Juvenile Probation Service staff and arrested young people. These interviews are then viewed by actual CPS or Juvenile Probation Service staff. Based on these observations, they assess the problems the young person is experiencing in life and the likelihood of reoffending.

What do we offer?
A compensation of €100 per shooting day, travel expenses, and lunch.

Description
We are looking for mature actors (25+) who are willing to act as interviewers working for the Child Protection Council or Youth Probation Service. The interviewer is only visible from behind, diagonally.
What is expected of you?
• You will act in a number of interview clips (depending on availability) and will only be visible from behind, diagonally.
• You will receive the interview questions in advance and some general information about the fictional crime and the young person's background.
• You work according to a script, but you can improvise in consultation.
• Please bring appropriate clothing, preferably no bright colours.
