Description
We’re looking for a skilled Director of Photography who is comfortable working with a range of tools such as sliders, Steadicam/gimbal systems, drones, and cranes.

Job requirements / profile
Responsibilities (Werkzaamheden)
Develop the film’s visual language together with the director (references, shot design, camera language).
Create an efficient coverage plan per scene (blocking → camera, lenses, movement).
Lead all cinematography decisions on set: framing, camera movement, lensing, lighting approach.
Coordinate and supervise the camera/lighting team (ACs, gaffer, grip) and keep the workflow clean.
Plan and execute dynamic shots using tools such as sliders, Steadicam/gimbal systems, drones, and cranes where appropriate.
Run technical tests (camera/lens tests, low-light tests, LUT/look tests) before principal photography.
Ensure image consistency and technical quality (exposure discipline, color pipeline, data management coordination).

Requirements (Functie-eisen)
Proven DoP experience with a strong showreel (narrative work preferred).
Comfortable with a variety of camera movement tools (slider, Steadicam/gimbal, drone, crane).
Strong storytelling instincts: able to build tension and emotion through camera and light.
Practical, solution-oriented mindset for low-budget productions (fast, efficient, creative).
Calm leadership and clear communication on set; good collaboration with actors and director.

Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
