We are looking for a gaffer to work with our DOP to create the lighting atmosphere of Artificial Soul: someone who is creative, technically strong and set-proof.
Experience with film sets and a good eye for cinematic lighting (mood, contrast, motivational lighting)
Strong in construction & organization: quick planning, efficient operation, safe working
Clear communication with DOP/Regie and staying calm under pressure
Solution-oriented and flexible (low-budget set = smart working)

Important: We have the necessary lighting and grip equipment on set—so you don't need to bring your own. (Having your own basic tools is helpful, but not essential.)

Demonstrable set experience (short/feature/series) and a sense of cinematic lighting
Technically strong: lighting construction, power distribution, safety, cable management
Being able to work quickly and in a structured manner under time pressure
Good communication with DOP/Regie, team player, solution-oriented
Available on the shooting days (NL) + own transport is a plus
Please note: Equipment is available on set — no own gear required

Activities
Translate the DOP's lighting plan into an efficient, safe setup
Set up, adjust and break down lighting setups per scene
Directing/coordinating (any) lamp crew/assistants
Balancing practicals and set lighting (color temperature, matching, continuity)
Monitoring safety (power, rigging, heat, cables, set routes)
Thinking about creative solutions for a strong look within budget
