The short film "Raw" is a passion project directed by Rijk Padding.
The film follows brother and sister Bodhi and Isa after Father's passing. While Isa tries to look ahead and finds solace in her studies and future plans, Bodhi clings to the past and the tangible memories the house holds. Their grief manifests in contradictory ways: Isa feels suffocated and wants to leave, while Bodhi stands still and refuses to let go. Small, everyday moments become catalysts for unspoken pain and pent-up anger. As Isa increasingly breaks under the pressure and Bodhi withdraws into his loss, their conflict escalates into an irreversible confrontation in which guilt, love, and grief collide sharply. RAUW is an intimate portrait of two people who love each other but are at risk of losing each other because they cannot grieve in the same way.
