For the Verhalenkracht Foundation, we are looking for cast members for the new musical theater production Spitters - Emma of the Resistance.

Spitters is a moving musical theatre piece about courage, loss, and moral choices during World War II, based on a true story. From the perspective of Emma, a young woman on the run, a story unfolds of hidden heroes, betrayal, and the search for justice. Against a backdrop of war and mistrust, she—along with her husband Karel—digs for the truth behind missing lives and stolen possessions. What begins as an escape grows into a struggle for recognition and remembrance.

Spitters (8 men, 19–60 years)
- Men from Rotterdam who are transported to Germany during the raid.
- Physical, dramatic, raw.
- Four players are given a small double role.
- Musicality is a plus.
