Mustang is a character-driven mockumentary following Cal Dekker (31), a self-proclaimed "revolutionary force of nature" in the niche world of competitive hobby horsing. After a humiliating two-year ban for an equine-grade supplement scandal, Cal prepares for a high-stakes redemption at the 2026 World Cup in Helsinki against a 13-year-old Dubaian prodigy, Julia "The Messi" Al-Mamoet. Captured through a voyeuristic, "sneaky" documentary lens, the film tracks Cal’s intense "Ronaldo-style" discipline, his father Erik’s overbearing "Dunglish" coaching and an eventual, bizarre pivot into a "high-performance" frikandellen snack empire.

Description
Cal Dekker (31): The "Mustang." Ronaldo-focused, a sharp haircut, and an obsessive devotion to his hobbyhorse, Gallus Maximus. Must be able to gallop with the utmost seriousness. Not an athletic build.

Erik Dekker (50+): The father and coach with a thick "Dunglish" accent. Arrogant, proud, and convinced he runs a top sports empire. Short fuse.

Mohammed Hmar (50+): An Arabic-speaking man who finds Cal's behavior hilarious. Strong expressions are needed to contrast his laughter with the serious (false) subtitles.

Saskia (50+): Cal's mother. Lives in Dubai and has a taste for extreme luxury. She exudes class, but is a passionate and emotional supporter of Julia on the sidelines.
