Kringloop Karin is a satirical mockumentary about Karin, an ambitious woman with a failed career who settles in a village to revitalize a thrift store. With her business acumen and bold words, she encounters a world where things, stories, and people have different values. The pilot humorously explores the tensions between city and region, between profit-driven thinking and human stories. The series consciously straddles the line between fiction and documentary: real stories from the thrift store inspire a slightly absurd, yet relatable universe.

For the role of Doloris we are looking for an actor/performer (m/f/x, ±40+) with a strong presence and a raw, lived-in voice.

Doloris is the flamboyant owner of a traditional Dutch pub. She wears sequins, velvet, and crocheted shawls as if they were royal robes and calls herself, without irony, the "queen" of the establishment. Her appearance is extravagant, a touch worn, but full of confidence.
