Welcome to a very strange powerplay story! A short film around 10 min set in a tv studio talk show. This short story is a fiction one where we showcase 3 students who have taken a radical step; they have eaten hardware to become the best of the best in performing. The students will appear to be clownesque. We are looking for the talk show host who can seem controlling and a bit mean, however always with a huge smile. He wants the show to go exactly as he likes, but the students have a different idea. Satire, absurdism and theatrical cabaret are the genres you can find this film in. (More info in next stage of talking.)

EXTRA ( we are also still casting the 3 students; if you have dance experience, like to play a clown type and dont mind lipsyncing for a performance the students do, let me know)

What do we offer?
We offer travelcosts, catering, costumes and everything you need. Sadly we can't offer you a salary/ hourly pay. The whole crew (students and already working professionals) are trying our hardest to make it work and to express this story with the means that we have.

Description
We are looking for a male actor, 28+ (we want to avoid the host and students looking the same age), who wants to experiment with a theatrical type. As well as dive into the world of showbizz and always keeping up appearances. We will work with a studio space, fake crew, fake audience and ofcourse the real crew and rest of the cast. There will be a bunch of dialogue as well as expressions/ non vocal acting moments. The host really is the face and star of the show, be prepared to take control over this, the studio and your ego cause we'd love him to really be this big character.
