For the short film "Blue Man in Orange," a graduation film developed within the NPO 3LAB program, we are looking for actors for two roles.

The film takes place largely in and around a swimming pool and follows Denys, an immigrant trying to overcome his fear of water. During his lessons, he meets Noor, a young swimming instructor in training who helps him push his boundaries step by step.
As their lessons progress, a subtle bond develops between them, in the run-up to the New Year's Dive in Scheveningen.

Description
Role 1 – NOOR (leading role)
Woman – ±18–25 years
Noor is a 19-year-old swimming instructor in training. She's slightly awkward, calm, and empathetic. Despite her own insecurities, she tries to help Denys overcome his fear of water. In the process, a subtle bond develops between them.
Requirements:
* Comfortable with scenes in and around a pool
* Performs scenes in normal swimwear (no revealing clothing like bikini)
* Dutch speaking
* Subtle and natural play

Role 2 – JORRIT (supporting role)
Male – ±45–65 years
Jorrit is a senior swimming instructor and Noor's supervisor. He's pragmatic, dry, and somewhat aloof. From the poolside, he observes the training sessions and represents the more institutional side of the swimming school.
Requirements:
* Dutch speaking
* Comfortable with scenes around a pool
* Authoritarian and down-to-earth appearance
