For the short film “Border Driver”, we are looking for motivated crew members who want to contribute to an atmospheric thriller.

The story follows two inexperienced drivers transporting a kidnapped woman during a night drive through a remote forest for a secret handover. When they are discovered at a checkpoint and the passenger is fatally wounded, the driver is left alone with an impossible choice: complete the mission or choose himself for the first time.

The film has a strong focus on suspense, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. Think of a dark, cinematic style with a heavy emphasis on light, sound, and detail.

Job requirements / profile
Production designer
- Designing and dressing sets and props
- Contributing ideas regarding visual style and atmosphere

Gaffer
- Setting up and operating the light
- Contribute ideas to the lighting plan (night shoots!)
- Collaborating with a professional DOP

VFX artist
- Post-production effects (subtle and realistic)
- Optional set input for VFX shots
- Experience with compositing/software (After Effects, Nuke, etc.)
- It concerns a gunshot and its impact on a body.

Sound engineer
- Recording dialogue and ambient sound on set
- Working with boom/microphones
- Ensuring clean, usable audio
