For the development of the new cooking show De Keukenbrigade, we are looking at the last minute for a chef with experience in Surinamese and/or Asian cuisine for the shoot of a teaser/pilot. With this teaser, we want to pitch the format to streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Videoland.

About the concept – De Keukenbrigade
Discover the adventure of chefs from diverse worlds who swap kitchens for a week before working together in an intense cook-off, where their culinary skills and backgrounds are challenged.

De Keukenbrigade is a culinary exchange show where chefs from completely different worlds come together. From Michelin-starred chefs to prison cooks: every episode revolves around meeting, collaborating, and sharing unique styles and cultural influences.

Within the dynamics of the kitchen, not only extraordinary dishes emerge, but also personal stories. The viewer is taken along into the backgrounds, challenges, and triumphs of the chefs. In doing so, the program offers not only entertainment but also highlights societal themes and contributes to greater understanding and empathy.

Description
Who are we looking for?

Age: between 30 and 60 years
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef in a professional kitchen
Demonstrable experience with and affinity for Surinamese and/or Asian cuisine
A distinct style and story of its own
Authentic appearance and convincing craftsmanship
Comfortable on camera (experience is a plus, but not required)

Language requirements
Dutch, English
