Hello, my name is Romy, I am 22 years old. I am in my fourth year of the Fine Arts program at the University of the Arts (HKU), and for my graduation project, I am making a film. The film is called 'The Boy'. It is about Aurora, a young sex worker who struggles with her gender identity. She meets Wouter, an older man who is struggling with his identity in his own way. When they get to know each other through Aurora's work, their dynamic quickly becomes very complex. It is a story about what it means to want to hold on to power and penetration, and to know when to let go.

What do we offer?
The film will be screened at EXPOSURE, the HKU's graduation exhibition. Many important extras in the art world will be attending, making this a very good opportunity for your own professional practice. Additionally, food and drinks will be provided, and travel expenses may also be reimbursed.

For this project, I am still looking for a film crew: more specifically, a cameraman/woman and a boom operator. (Student or non-student.)

Job requirements / profile
As a camera operator, you will capture my film during our shooting days. I am also open to your insights, knowledge, and creativity in this regard. The same applies to the boom operator, who will assist me with recording and capturing sound during filming.
