Logline:
When Anne (22) first starts training with an MMA team, the advanced Margo (24) suggests giving private training. When Anne develops feelings for Margo, she loses sight of her goal: regaining strength and self-confidence in her own body after a traumatic experience.

Hey, we are Jelle, Ke, and Lucie. We are making a third-year short film about women in combat sports, primarily MMA. Our story addresses themes such as vulnerability, self-discipline, gender envy, queerness, and emancipation. We feel it is important to represent queer people in combat sports. We also see ourselves in the main character Anne's search for physical and mental resilience.
We are looking for tough ladies who think it would be cool to bring this action-packed film to life. It will be a physical role with minimal dialogue. Most of the story is told through fighting and facial expressions.

No acting experience is required. The most important thing is a feel for martial arts, being comfortable with physical acting, and motivation. You don't necessarily have to do MMA; you can also have an aptitude for wrestling, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, etc.

Anne is a confident, social girl who fully immerses herself in the combat sport of MMA after a traumatic experience. She has never faced major setbacks in her life. She is self-assured but also stubborn when she wins a fight. When confronted with the facts about how much she still has to learn, she is made aware of how much she still has to learn. When she trains with Margo, she gives everything to the sport. She develops feelings for Margo, and they are one-sided. As a result, her frustration and confusion grow.

Margo v/x (24)

Margo is a determined and skilled MMA fighter. She has found a home in the sport and her gym. Although she is reserved off the mat, she loses herself in the sport. She wants to help others find their own strength and self-confidence through this sport. She is particularly interested in helping Anne achieve her goal. She shows less interest in building a friendship off the mat, and she is not romantically or sexually attracted to Anne.
