Synopsis

Margins of the Inevitable follows Mikey, a witty and imaginative boy navigating the seemingly unavoidable divorce of his parents. Obsessed with order and routine, he clings to familiar habits to stay calm. His mysterious lifelong imaginary friend, Everett, who has the appearance of an adventurous businessman, offers him a notebook that promises a way to restore the love between his parents by rewriting their memories. Desperate, Mikey revisits painful memories of their conflicts and rewrites them into moments of warmth and positivity. Soon, reality shifts into a picture perfect family life, but something feels deeply wrong. His parents act hollow, and Everett is regarded as real, even acknowledged as their other son. Mikey realizes he has lost his flawed but genuine parents, and must undo what he has written and sever his tie with Everett.

We are searching for a:

Everett: Villain age 17-24

Everett is a thousand-year-old entity from a dimension of complete isolation, whose immense power cannot fill his deep loneliness. After centuries of drifting through realities to escape his emptiness, he becomes fascinated by human connection when he discovers Earth. Drawn to the bond between people, he takes the form of Mikey’s imaginary friend in a fragile attempt to finally experience belonging and love.
