Casting Call – Short Graduation Film “Lena” (working title)

My name is Job van Zuilekom and I am a third- and final-year AV Specialist student at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam.

For my graduation film (running time: 6 minutes), I am looking for two actors:

Roles:

Jacob (young man, 18–20 years old)
A withdrawn and sensitive boy struggling with guilt and a traumatic past. The role calls for subtle acting, but also for emotional intensity.

Lena (young woman, 18–20 years old)
A quiet and mysterious extra. She radiates kindness, warmth, and calmness, but also has something secretive about her.

Logline:
Jacob is a young draftsman trapped in the memory of a fire. In静谧 black-and-white scenes, reality and memory blur, while guilt and loss rise ever more strongly to the surface.

Filming days:
May 11 and 12, 2026 (full days)

Location:
Rotterdam region (including Rotterdam and Alblasserdam). Exact locations to follow.
