Logline:
In a world of concrete and expectations, a young builder’s son hides his passion for dance—until the pressure to conform builds to an explosive, irreversible act of self-expression.

Synopsis:
A young working-class man in England spends his days alongside his father on a construction site, where harsh words and rigid masculinity define the rhythm of life. Dutiful and silent, he follows orders without question-but beneath the surface, he harbours a secret passion for movement and dance.
Throughout the workday, we watch Billy discreetly collect small objects-tools, scraps of fabric-hiding them from the crew. Each item becomes part of a private world, a quiet rebellion against the life expected of him. As the hours pass, the tension builds; his need to express himself grows harder to contain.
When his father finally discovers the truth, the fragile balance shatters. What follows is an intense confrontation-one that forces them both to face who Billy really is, and threatens to either break their bond completely or transform it forever.

Description
Sound OP: We are looking for a passionate sound operator/mixer, who can help us reach our vision of mixing the sounds of construction with movement and music. Experience is not important, as long as you yourself believe that this is something you would be somewhat capable of doing.

Camera OP: We are also in search for a somewhat experienced camera OP. Who feels comfortable attempting new and creative movements and angles, that we seek to incorporate with the dance and movement.

1st AD, location scout and script supi are also still available if interested

Job requirements / profile
We require nothing more than a passion for filmmaking at project development in collaboration with others. This means being a dependable team player, who is willing to take part of a passion project with students and other filmmakers!
