For KNMT, the professional organization of dentists in the Netherlands, we are producing three short comedic shorts. The central idea: dentists already have enough on their plate, so KNMT advocates for their interests regarding fees, administration, and image.

Each video opens in the middle of a recognizable work situation in the practice. The dentist is completely in his element, focused on his work. Then something unexpectedly turns out differently than expected.
1. A strange announcement over the ceiling speaker just before the drill starts.
2. A stack of paperwork is handed to me in the middle of an important root canal treatment.

The dentist responds. Not dramatically, but in a brief silence, dryly humorous. The role calls for someone who can carry a scene without making it too big.
Then the presenter steps into the frame, takes over, and the dentist remains subtly visible in the background.
Filming takes place on May 21 at a dental practice in Veenendaal. Two-man crew, professional production.

Description
An actor who can convincingly play a dentist. You have demonstrable experience with comedic acting, theater, or sketch-style formats. The role calls for subtle timing and dry humor. Excessive exuberance is not necessary, but you must be able to carry a joke without overdoing it.
