For a short, visually experimental film (±6 min), I am looking for a VFX/SFX make-up artist who can create a skin-removal effect. This leaves our character with only the 'flesh/muscles' on her face and neck.

ABOUT THE FILM
The film follows Sarah and Jason, a couple with a strong, loving bond. When Jason uses a vulnerable story of Sarah's in his speech at a wedding, her trust is broken. What begins as an intimate relationship turns into a power struggle over ownership, love, and identity.

In the climax, Sarah undergoes a physical transformation: she sheds her own skin — a symbolic act in which she breaks free from who she was within the relationship, and reshapes herself.

You will have a lot of creative freedom, and this is a great opportunity to add something visually strong to your portfolio. Because this is a student production, I unfortunately cannot pay you. However, there is of course a delicious lunch, a great crew, and you can gain a lot of experience! If the equipment you need to use is very expensive, please let me know so we can look into it together!
