On June 14, we will be filming a short historical flashback of the Battle of the Boorne (734 AD) in the beautiful Broekpolder of Vlaardingen for the adventure film Reiderland (www.reiderlanddefilm.nl). During this battle, King Poppo of the Frisians (son or successor of King Radboud/Redbad) was defeated by the Franks led by Charles Martel (grandfather of Charlemagne). With a team that is small in size but big in talent, we are filming with limited resources but achieving grand results.

What do we offer?
* €50 pp,
possibly carpooling in the Vlaardingen region, or picking up/dropping off at nearby stations,
* a fun day of filming,
* lunch and snacks,
* name (and possibly logo) on website and credits,
and our eternal gratitude, truly.

We are looking for reenactors who enjoy participating with us. With an emphasis on "enjoy," because although we strive for fair compensation, we are 100% dependent on funding and our own contributions. Naturally, dozens of grant applications have already been sent, on which we have high hopes. However, we do not want to spend money we do not yet have, nor make false promises. Enthusiastic reenactors, with their own battle attire, who can pass for Frisians (or possibly Franks) from around 734 AD. Historical accuracy is very important, but does not need to be 100% perfect; after all, we are making a fictional film, not a documentary.

We are also looking for an amateur/semi-professional photographer who could do a promotional photoshoot.
