Summer '26 is a romantic feature film of approximately 90 minutes in which we follow Valentina and her friends in their search for love and companionship for life.

Valentina has had a secret crush on Brandon de Rhoo, the CEO of a major energy transition company, for years. However, she has never met him. When Valentina confesses her secret to her friends, they decide to help her get in touch with De Rhoo.

Summer '26 is a romantic feature film in the style of Jane Austen with a modern, Dutch twist, and deals with themes such as love, loyalty, regret, and domestic violence. We are still looking for actors and actresses for a number of roles. The film is very dialogue-intensive with heavy emotional moments; our preference lies with actors who excel in this area.

What do we offer?
There is no large production company or subsidies behind this film, and it is fully financed from our own resources; in fact, the approach to this production is like a major 48-hour film. This means that we are aiming for high quality with minimal resources and are simply going to make a fun film!

For this reason, no compensation can be offered, but naturally, good catering is provided during the filming days, a contribution towards travel expenses for some filming locations, and you can receive material for your showreel once the film is finished. Additionally, the film is being submitted to various film festivals and efforts are being made to get it onto larger streaming channels. If the film generates revenue, the proceeds will be distributed fairly among the cast and crew.

Vicky is spontaneous, friendly, and a real chatterbox. She lives in the moment and makes decisions based on her gut feeling. Vicky is adventurous and can be found in the pub every Saturday night, where she manages to wrap many a man around her finger. Her free lifestyle is reflected in her clothing style (scantily dressed). IMPORTANT: For this role, we are filming for one day in Ghent, Belgium. Youssa, woman of Turkish descent, 30-40 years old, 4 filming days
Youssa is calmness personified and brings composure to some heated discussions. However, Youssa carries a heavy burden from her past that she must one day face.

Berend, male, 30-50 years, 4 shooting days
Gentle, friendly man. Very loyal. The right-hand man and bosom friend of Mr. De Rhoo.
