A sentence, an object, a character, a genre and 48 hours of time.
Film teams receive the ingredients for their films on Friday evening and then have 48 hours to write, film, edit, and submit the film on time by Sunday evening.
Our highly experienced team (young & old) will be participating in a film project competition like this in June: Utrecht.

What do we offer?
You will be welcomed with open arms by everyone, many of whom have previously won awards within 48hfp and/or been rewarded for their contributions to the film and video industry.
The winning film of this edition will be screened during Filmapalooza in Curaçao in March 2027 and will compete there for the title of best 48-hour film in the world.

An editor who can really empathize with the genre we are given.
can incorporate the director's vision into the final film.
Your own creative input will certainly be appreciated.
Is willing to come to the film location on Saturday to start editing from 13:00.
