Misère-en-Scène is a tragicomic graduation film (±15 minutes) about a perfectionist film director whose ambitious shooting day slowly derails as paranoia, stress, and anxiety take over. This takes place on a film set where crew members and actors are working hard.

The film is about perfectionism, the lust for control, and the chaos behind creative ambition.
The film shows how perfectionism can result in stress, paranoia, and self-destruction when someone gets into deep trouble due to a self-made mistake.

Description
We are looking for actors for two roles:

THE ACTOR "JUSTIN" (18-24)

Justin is an actor who stars in the film being shot. He plays a young man who is having an affair with a married woman. Justin has a well-groomed, friendly appearance, a true "gentleman".
Preference for blond hair and standard Dutch.

THE ACTRESS "WOMAN" (40-50)

The woman is an actress who stars in the film being shot inside the film. She plays a charming, married woman with a warm but mysterious aura.
She is elegant, emotionally layered, and convincing in a forbidden romance.
Preference for brown hair.

Justin and the Woman act together in a romantic black-and-white scene within the film.
In this scene, they are having a secret affair and discussing their uncertain future together, while the tension is palpable because her husband could come home at any moment.

The scenes revolve around forbidden love, doubt, tension, and underlying emotion, with a classic, melodramatic, and cinematic atmosphere inspired by old romantic dramas such as Casablanca (1942).
