For a short fiction film for my Communication program at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, I am looking for an actress for the role of Lisa.

The film is a psychological coming-of-age drama about Merel, a young woman who returns to Amsterdam after a spiritual period in Bali and tries to hold on to the peace and balance she found there within the fast-paced life in the Netherlands.

Central to the story is the clash between tranquility, spirituality, and the constant pressure of social expectations, scheduling, and always being “on.” The film adopts a realistic and personal style in which emotions and experience take center stage.

A social, energetic, and modern Gen Z appearance. Someone who comes across as spontaneous, quick, and present. The role primarily requires someone who can naturally portray social pressure, enthusiasm, and misunderstanding.

Acting experience is nice, but certainly not required.
