Eye Filmmuseum
Eye is the only film museum in the Netherlands and a guardian, pioneer, and guide to the world of film and the art of the moving image. The museum manages an international collection of more than 60,000 films and creates leading exhibitions on film and visual arts. Eye showcases film in all its diversity and, in collaboration with the film sector, promotes Dutch film at home and abroad. Through educational programs, Eye fosters an understanding of and love for film, in cooperation with the education sector and the film industry.

What do we offer?
A challenging internship in an inspiring work environment at a great location in Amsterdam, with fun, enthusiastic colleagues. This is a 28.8-hour per week internship for 5 months, from September 1, 2026, to February 1, 2027. The internship allowance is €550 gross based on 36 hours per week, including travel expenses. You will work in an informal atmosphere with room for initiative, alongside individual guidance. Interns receive an employee pass allowing free access to films and the exhibition.

Tasks and responsibilities
• Organizing, delivering, and supervising educational and public programs for pupils, young people, students, and families, within and outside a school context, partly also on weekends and during school holidays;
• (co-)developing inspiring teaching materials and creative film programs;
• help make exhibitions accessible and relevant to a young target audience;
• searching for and selecting inspiring films that perfectly match the target audiences;
• Assisting with production tasks and helping everything run smoothly in the department.
