We are looking for a sound engineer for the short film “Border Driver”. It is a short thriller (10–15 minutes) that largely takes place during a night drive through forest roads.
The story follows two inexperienced men transporting a kidnapped woman to a secret handover in a rally car. The co-driver is the more extroverted of the two: he talks a lot, takes the lead, and tries to maintain control of the situation. When they are discovered at a military checkpoint, the situation escalates, and he is fatally shot. This moment marks a major turning point in the film.

The film has a minimalist and realistic style, with little dialogue and a strong focus on tension, timing, and interpersonal dynamics.

Job requirements / profile
Someone who enjoys working on an atmospheric thriller production with a strong focus on immersion and suspense.

- Experience recording dialogue on set
- Experience with boom operating
- Preferably someone who thinks creatively about atmosphere/tension through sound
- Comfortable with evening and night shoots
- Experience with car shooting is a plus
- Owning your own equipment is nice, but not required
