The Working Actor from November 18, 2019 to January 17, 2020 @faaam

In 7 weeks, you will work on yourself as an actor in the cutthroat acting market through 5 masterclasses.

You train your audition skills and receive audition training from various coaches and professionals from the film industry. You work on your presentation to the outside world: casting photos, website, business cards, and your showreel.
Tips & tricks: How can you stay up to date with everything that is happening in this closed industry?
How do you become self-employed, or how can you improve and optimize your own business?
How do you improve your own “branding” with Google, Facebook, Instagram, IMDB, etc.?
In addition, you will receive two weeks of training from Alex Murphy, an American actor, director, and coach, who will teach you camera acting using the Stanislavski method.
With William Sutton, you work on 'The Speaking Actor', where we tune into the English-language performance, including any dialect or accent. With Stijn Westenend, you work on 'Silent Play': how strongly you can convey signals with even just a small action or a glance. And Hugo Metsers joins in with 'Type-/Anti-typecasting': becoming aware of how you come across 90% of the time, and tweaking how you want to come across.

This series of masterclasses will be an intense succession of information, execution, and training. If you really want to be successful in the film industry, it starts with yourself, and you really have to (dare to) work extremely hard at it.

A casting shoot is included with 'The Working Actor'.

Some masterclasses are taught in English.
