Clarinettist Alex Simu - known to many as a member and co-founder of the successful group Arifa - has recently become active as a composer of soundtracks. And with success, because with the music for 'Beyond Sleep', based on the novel 'Nooit Meer Slapen' by WF Hermans, he immediately won a golden calf during the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht.
